Litmix: Henry Winter

Hey guys.  This is something I may try to do more of in the future.  I like to listen to music that reminds me of the book I’m reading at the moment.  That could be a themed playlist that someone else has made for the book, a soundtrack, or music from the time period in which the book is set.

I made this playlist for Henry Winter, a character in Donna Tartt’s The Secret History.  I’m not currently reading the book–in fact, I first read it way back in September 2013.  I do, however, plan to reread it soon, and lately I have been listening to lots of playlists that other people have made.

You don’t need to have read the book to enjoy the playlist.  They’re all good songs, I think.  But you’d (hopefully) enjoy the playlist more if you have read the book.

Here’s the 8tracks version, and here’s the link to the Spotify version.  The only difference is that the 8tracks version has Jen Titus’s rendition of “O Death” from Supernatural, while the Spotify version has the Ralph Stanley one.  I personally prefer the former, but I couldn’t find it on Spotify 😦

Anyway, I hope some people like it!
